Classic Car Show Brussels is organizing a memorable three-day celebration to celebrate Ferrari’s 75th anniversary. Almost 300 official guests paraded with the obligatory dress code of the event — their legendary cars. More than 23,000 visitors had the opportunity to see live exemplary models, some of which technological challenges and time have become symbols of the automotive industry.
The focus was on the impressive collection of exhibits from the world’s most famous sports car manufacturer. Spectators immersed themselves in the history of Ferrari and the BWW M series. The German model became another star of the exhibition and showed the guests its well-deserved fame over the past 50 years.
The close relationship between Belgium and Scuderia dates back to 1952, when the private organization Ecurie Francorchamps introduced the distinctive yellow Ferrari to Le Mans and Formula One.
The lenses were targeted at Italian Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Group 4, Ferrari 250 GT Berinetta SWB, Ferrari 288 GTO, Ferrari 250 MM, Ferrari 500 Mondial, Ferrari Dino 206, Ferrari 512 BB Competizione Stradale, Ferrari Testarossa, Fearrari 275 GTS. Pininfarina, Ferrari 488 Challenge, Ferrari 195 Vignale, Ferrari 500 Superfast and many more.
The German model caught the attention of the BMW M1, BMW M1 Procar, BMW (E30) M3, BMW (E30) M3 DTM, BMW 3.0 CSL, BMW 3.0 CSL Group 2, BMW (E28) M5, BMW (E28) M528i and BMW. (F90) M5 KS.
Among the guests of honor of the festive retroforum were exemplary representatives of De Dion-Bouton, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Bugatti, Lincoln, Aston Martin, Porsche, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Ford, Smart and others.
Of course, 007’s dream cars also had a special place. Artists with a strong passion for vintage cars demonstrated their amazing talent by painting in front of the audience. The history of the automotive industry has also been shown on canvas.
In the «art gallery» the guests were delighted with the close acquaintance with Jean Boghossian’s Bentley Continental GT3 ART Car. The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the artist and Bentley Brussels. This year the eccentric sports car won the Ultimate Cup Series in Hockenheim and took a worthy part in the Spa 24 Hours Rally. In 2021, he also excelled at Le Mans.
There were also collectors among the visitors of the retro-exhibition. They had the opportunity to buy an exhibit or trust their observations of the market. A 1972 Lincoln Continental cost €18,000. 1982 Aston Martin Lagonda sold for €70,000 The car needs restoration. A model in excellent condition sells for approximately 250,000 euros.
